Avoiding divorce through communication in the 21st century

My purpose in writing this book is firstly to break my silence on the subject and to emerge with a prophetic warning to the whole Body of Christ in America, Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa. My message is to show that divorce is not only theologically and morally wrong, but it is also sinful. Secondly, my purpose for writing this book is to prevent casualties, tensions, separation and divorce in marriage. Following the example of Paul and Silas in the jail in Philippi, my aim is to shout: “Do yourself no harm!” After all, prevention is always better than cure Thirdly, my purpose for writing this book is to equip newly married couples so that they avoid the tragedies of divorce and stick to their marriage covenant. Fourthly, my purpose is to enlighten couples as to the good things this social institution has to offer. Many marriages are reasonably successful and bring considerable happiness to both partners. Fifthly, my purpose is to bring a message of reconciliation, healing and hope to those single parents who are torn, hurt, bleeding, lonely and suffering guilt, as a result of a broken marriage.
