The purposes for writing this book are fourfold:
1. To bring out the best in husbands and wives within their marriage – particularly those who have been entrusted with leadership responsibilities.
2. To heal the deep-seated wounds and damage unconsciously inflicted by a wife upon her husband. Wounds capable of destroying his good reputation and leadership credibility.
3. To heal wives who are being hurt and emotionally abused by their husbands. This domestic conflict between the husband leader and his wife is often so secret that their public admirers do not easily observe its hurtful complexity.
4. To help make the world a better place for all people through exemplary models in marriage.
